The Story Behind It All
Allan Stone has been the brains behind 'Stoney & Friends' for over 20 years. All money raised by the charity goes to Macmillan Cancer Support.
To date, Allan and his team have currently raised over half a million pounds - all for a good cause and all done with the support and generosity of anglers’ across the UK.
Money is raised by sponsorship from anglers and entrance fees to competitions and fishing events held at selected venues, predominantly around the south of England - but we are always on the look-out for more.

Stoney and Friends is an official Macmillan Cancer Support committee, established in 1996. As with the majority of fundraising groups, we are all volunteers giving our time and effort to raise funds for Macmillan, whilst helping to raise their profile. We do this through attendance at the various fishing shows around the country, alongside organising fishing events throughout the year, both coarse and predator based events.
